In 2001, on the surface of the deserts of Oman an stone was found. This meteorite has a shock stage of S1 with a weathering grade of W4. The Dhofar 323 grouped as an ordinary chondrite with the classification of H5. Only one stone has been recovered at this time with a total known weight of 688 grams.
