In September 1998 Stanislaw Jachymek found the first piece of the Zaklodzie near the small village of Zaklodzie next to a rural road. The specimen displayed residual fusion crust, enstatite grains, inclusions and finely dispersed graphite. This meteorite falls under the classification of an achondrite.
